Day Seven

First Day on the diet without the wife.

My lady travels for work, so for the next few days I am on my own with the non-diet. The good in this situation is I'll be able to go to the gym during the day as opposed to at nigh with her like usual.


6:10 am.
Blood Sugar - 95

6:30 am - Breakfast
Starvin' Lou's Spicy Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
1½ cup oatmeal (this is about 3/4 cup of quaker quick oats and 1 1/2 cups of water)
1 sliced apple
2 splenda packets
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
½ Cayanne Pepper
2 tsp salt
2 cups Black Coffee (hazlenut with splenda)

6:40 am. Meds
1 Glipizide
1 Multi Vitamin

11:10 am. - Coffee

2 cups Black Coffee (hazlenut with splenda)

1:00 pm. - Lunch
2 slices Lite seedless rye bread
2 oz Maple-Glazed Honey-Coated Ham
1 cup romaine lettuce
1 cup roasted red peppers
1 serving Kraft Fat Free Singles - White American
1 tsp Dijon mustard

2 serving Progresso Light - Southwetern style vegatable (1 can)

16 oz. Sugar-free raspberry ice

4:45 pm. - Double Lunch
2 slices Lite seedless rye bread
2 oz. Maple-Glazed Honey-Coated Ham
1 Can Bumble Bee - Chunk White Albacore, in water
1 tbsp Starvin' Lou's Yogurt Dill Falafel Dip

6:45 - pm. - Meds
1 Glipizide

7:15 - Dinner
3 serving Better'n Eggs - Ham and Cheese
4 slices 100% whole wheat bread
2 serving Kraft Fat Free Singles - White American
1 cup baby carrots
5 oz. V8, Low-Sodium
16 oz. Sugar-free raspberry ice

9:45 pm. - Snacks
1 serving Pringles Light - Sour crean and onion
2 Quaker Rice Cakes - White Cheddar
2 cups Black Coffee (hazlenut with splenda)
